An Akashic Records Guided Meditation to Open and Close Your Records

An Akashic Records Guided Meditation to Open and Close Your Records

This is a complete akashic guided meditation you can read slowly to yourself, record in your own voice to play back later, or simply follow along with in a quiet moment. Unlike a general instructional guide, this is written as a script: something to be experienced, not just studied. Find a comfortable seat, silence your phone, and give yourself permission to move slowly through each part.

If you’re new to this practice, our guide on how to access your Akashic Records covers the background and troubleshooting tips. This post is the meditation itself.

How to Use This Guided Meditation

  • Read through the whole script once before you begin, so nothing catches you off guard mid-practice.
  • Go slowly. Each pause matters as much as the words themselves.
  • If you’d like a hands-free experience, record yourself reading it aloud in a calm, unhurried voice, then play it back with your eyes closed.
  • Keep a journal within reach for afterward.

The Akashic Records Prayer Meditation

Settle into a comfortable seated position. Let your hands rest gently in your lap or on your knees. When you’re ready, close your eyes.

Take a slow breath in through your nose… and let it go through your mouth.

Again. Breathe in slowly… and release.

One more time. In… and out.

Feel the weight of your body supported beneath you. Feel your feet, or your legs, connected to the ground. There is nowhere else you need to be right now. This moment is yours.

Take a few more breaths at your own pace, letting each one slow you down a little further.

Grounding

Imagine a soft, warm light beginning to glow at the base of your spine. With each breath, let this light grow gently brighter, extending downward through your body and into the earth beneath you, like roots settling into soil. You are grounded. You are supported. You are safe.

Now imagine that same light rising upward, moving slowly through your body, up through your chest, your throat, and settling just above the crown of your head. This is your connection point, open and ready to receive.

Calling in Protection

Silently or aloud, offer this intention:

“I ask that this space be filled with love, light, and protection. I ask to connect only with guidance that serves my highest good, and I release anything that does not belong to me.”

Take a breath here. Let that intention settle.

The Opening Prayer

When you feel ready, speak or silently offer this akashic records prayer meditation, slowly, allowing each line to land before moving to the next:

“The Records are now open.”

“Help me to know myself in the light of the Akashic Records.”

“Let me see myself through the eyes of the Masters, Teachers, and Loved Ones who hold my records with love and wisdom.”

“I ask to receive the guidance that serves my highest good, at this time, in this moment.”

“The Records are now open.”

Pause here. Notice any shift, however subtle: a change in the quality of the silence, a feeling of warmth, a sense of being met.

Asking Your Question

Bring to mind the question you’d like to explore. Keep it simple, open, and focused on yourself. If nothing specific comes to mind, you can simply ask:

“What do I need to understand about this season of my life?”

Now stop asking, and simply rest in stillness. Let go of any expectation of exactly how an answer should arrive. It may come as a word. An image. A memory. A feeling in your body. Or it may come as nothing at all right now, and that is allowed too.

Stay here for several long, slow breaths. There’s no need to rush.

Receiving

If something arises, however small, let yourself notice it without immediately analyzing it. You don’t need to understand it fully in this moment. You are simply receiving. Trust that whatever comes, or doesn’t come, is exactly what you’re meant to have right now.

Continue breathing slowly, staying open for as long as feels right.

Closing the Records

When you feel complete, bring your awareness gently back to your breath. Offer a quiet thank you:

“Thank you to the Masters, Teachers, and Loved Ones who shared their wisdom with me today.”

“Thank you for the guidance I received, and for the guidance still unfolding.”

“The Records are now closed.”

Take one more slow breath in, and let it go.

Returning

Begin to bring gentle movement back into your body. Wiggle your fingers and toes. Roll your shoulders. When you’re ready, open your eyes.

After the Meditation

Take a few minutes to write down anything you noticed, even fragments that don’t fully make sense yet. Impressions from an akashic records guided meditation often continue to surface over the following hours or days, so this is less about capturing a finished answer and more about leaving yourself a trail to follow.

Making This a Regular Practice

This guided meditation for akashic records can be revisited as often as feels right, whether that’s daily, weekly, or whenever you feel called to check in with yourself. Many people find the experience shifts each time: some sessions feel vivid and clear, others quiet and uneventful. Both are simply part of building a consistent relationship with your own inner guidance.

Final Thoughts

There’s no single correct way to move through a meditation to access akashic records. What matters most is the intention you bring, the stillness you allow yourself, and the patience to keep returning. Let this script be a starting point you can return to and adapt as your own practice deepens.
